I was wondering what i could expect to pay for factory honda 250r plastics, and seat, and seat foam and all?

Not sure about the seat, but I paid just over $600.00 2 years ago for factory plastic for my 89R through Service Honda. That was with me picking it up at the dealership.

thanks man, I had heard it was around 900$ with all new plastics and seat and all, shiped to his house, I was just curious, Cuz on another post somone had said i shouldnt ever pay over 375! Thanks man!

Hell 400ex plastics are like 250, and my buddies just bought new plastics for his 450r, and he only gave like 204.?? for all of it!

What year seat are you looking for? If you need a seat for an 88-89, Honda only sells them with a black cover. You may still be able to get 86-87 seat in red, but I'm not sure of that. They may have changed all of those over to black also.

Im not currently looking now, But within the next year it will be done! along with some other cosmetic odds and ends!

a few years back i bought all my 88 honda plastic from planethondaracing.com

i think i paid like 650 or 700 shipped for the 2 front fenders hood, and rear fender shipped.

what a rip that they cost more but they look 10 times better then 400ex plastic!

I got brand new OEM white '89 plastic for around $400 (180 for front and 220 for rear section) a year ago. Check Dirtwheels magazine for the cheapest place - I bought them from some company out of Michigan but can't remember name. Service Honda was pretty high priced on the plastics but they are great otherwise. I don't know how much a new seat pan & foam will set ya back - try ebay for those and just buy a new seat cover...

Hey man, do you know where in dirtwheels you saw the ad where you got your plastic? I remember seeing the same thing like a yr. ago but everyone said I was wrong. Do you know if it was one of those main page ads or was it one of those small ads in the back of the mag? Thx man

I just remember that it was an all black and white ad (full page) with a ton of oem stuff listed....
