Currently I have a 273 long rod with a 39 PWK. I want more low and mid. So which carb would be better? No, buying a YFZ isn't the answer.
thanks, Mike

For a small displacement and MX racing, I'd suggest a 36mm, the particular brand is up to you.

Second, make sure you know exactly what you are looking for and how to get it. A smaller carb will give you better throttle response, but it won't actually give you more low-end power. If you want more low-end power, you need to change your pipe and/or porting. I'd also suggest head mods for higher compression, if you haven't already.

36 or 38 mikuni TMX, I run the 36 on my xc R. I love the carb, great response and low-mid power. I got mine from ESR, came set up for my quad also came with about 10 jets on a billit jet board. If I were you I'd give them a call and talk to them about it (559) 625-3157
