i have a 01 raptor with an fmf and a edelbrock 2:1 carb and a k&n. when it starts to top out it cuts out. its not the rev limiter. so do i need to adjust the carb more? leaner or rick or switch needles?

i have a 1998 yz400f and its cuting out at the top end ? vavles need to be adjusted?
