has anybody been able to compare the new 2005 Z400 to the "old" 2003,2004 models?
if so.
does the 05' have much more power with the larger carb and diff cam profiles?
is the stock suspesion on the 05' much better thatn the stock susension on the 03' 04' models?
thanks.

Yes they do the new bigger bore carb give it an edge over last years already...AND they have still plush suspension but they are rebuildable and can be adjusted...the new cam profile increases the power output... hope this helps

did they ride it and ride it against other quads or did they just tell about all the new stuff?

Yes it was a full out test, racers and trail riders switched off on track and trails. Not saying that money talks we know how those things are but this was there take on it.

I have an 03 KFX400 & an 05LTZ400 and there is a huge difference. The new suspension is so much nicer in the woods. It definately has more pull too.
I want to know where ATV Action got that Z at with the graphics kit. I haven't seen any out with white & blue in them.

One other thing I noticed recently is that the frame is way better on the 05 than the 03. They have been listening and correcting issues with the frame. I am sure you will still want to gusset the frame, but it won't be as bad as before!
