Hows the Honda Hrc Kit for the 450r and what does it do for the quad?

It's a great kit, makes the 450r come alive. However it is a little on the top end side, doesnt help the low end bog in any way. If you want a mid-top setup cant be beat.

the HRC cam and HMF pipe is a great combo. The HMF gives gobs of low end while the HRC cam gives more on mid to top. The TC pipe with the HRC cam will make the 450R scream on top.

How's the Sparks work with the HRC kit? I have the kit and seem to find sparks/hmf to be the top two choices for pipes.

I HAVE THE BILL BALLANCE FULL SYSTEM AND I JUST PURCHASED A NEW HRC KIT ON EBAY CANT WAIT TO SEE HOW THIS THING WILL SCREAM.YOUR RIGHT IT SHOULD WORK GOOD BECASUE THE BALLANCE SYSTEM HAS GOT TO HAVE THE BEST BOTTOM END OR CLOSE TO IT OF ANY PIPE SO IT SHOULD HELP THE MID TO TOP CAM OUT I HOPE IT WORKS AWESOME TOGETHER I CANT WAIT TO GET IT INSTALLED AND GIVE YOU GUYS A RIDE REVIEW,CANT WAIT TO RACE MY TWO RAPTOR BUDDIES WITH THE HRC KIT THEY ARE GONNA GET A SUPRISE I THINK.

i got a hmf full system with the hrc kit and it woke the quad up. i recommend it.

I have the full HRC kit along with a sparks pipe, I simply love it since I mostly ride in open fiels and do alot of jumping. For woods riding its a bit tough since it wants to wheely from half throttle and up.

Could have alot to do with my Weight [127 lbs]. I came off a prety well suspended 400ex, so I do miss the elka's. I will be getting the C&D mod done to my 450r soon as I save up the 550$.

BTW that small pic near my nic show's me practicing 2nd gear launches for those that race thats the key to beat yfz's

leave in 2nd hard but quick shift into 3rd since 3rd is very short with an hrc and pipe, that will be the difference uf getting to 4th before the yfz to win most drag's

hope that will help some of you out showing that the 450r is much more close to the yfz than many want us to think

way to go on saving up the bucks! Nowadays, it's so hard to save up when everyone has their hands out wanting your money- me included

it adds alot of mid to top, if you just want a little bit better throttle respose and hp take the lid of a just get the hrc needle with a bigger main. get the hot cams cam, i think it adds a bit more top end then the hrc cam.

Does anyone know where to find part numbers for the HRC parts. I was hoping to buy the cam and jetting without buying the lid and end cap. Any help would be appreciated in advance.
