I've got a 02' 300 ex and i'm having some trouble mounting the stock plastic on after I installed an aftermarket IMS gas tank. Are there modifications that need to be made to the stock plastic or do I need some after market plastic to make it work out?

stock plastic will work, but it will bulge out on the sides. it will bulge out no matter what plastic you used tho

I'm having trouble getting the stock plastic to fit back into the frame holes, and before I started to cut any plastic I was just double checking.

if its close you can just drill the plastic a tad
