I am in Fredericksburg also. Actually Very South Stafford near butler rd.

Posted by: JRP

well theres a group of guys that ride once a while over here. and another group ride right off of route 3. there are like 15 quads. but i ride on my little ***** track in my back yard. we all need to get together sumtime and ride. im 14, how about you guys?

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

Most of my riding is just at a friends track. A bunch of us race together. We race mostly D-7 MX. We really don't trail ride the quads are just to wide for trails. Plus trails are limited around here now. I live by Fawn Lake and The Rest of the mafia are around Spotsy and King George Area.

Posted by: JRP

how old are most of u guys?

Posted by: 397ccEX

Im 15 live around leesburg in lovettsville who wants too ride

I live Louisa County near Lake Anna. Race at VSP......There is an awesome natural terrain track in Caroline County i ride at most every sunday during the warm months LOL. It's owned by a friend of mine it's about a 1 1/2 miles long with more than enough BIG jumps and a Fire trail probably about 2 or 3 miles long. Problem is everytime I go there Ive got the only big quad!! Let me know if any of you are interested and I'll try and find out when the next ride is I'll post it on here. The guy that owns the land only requires that you sign a wavier and come with a positve attitude.....I.E. NO *** WHOLES! It's a practice track no need to go out and jump over anybody's head....besides if you did you'd probably end up in the trees!

Also have any of you guys been to Currituck MX? I'm planning going down there some time between now and Christmas. If any body is avaible and wants to go let me know!

I would love to ride with you guys im a trail rider havent dont any track riding

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

How quad freindly is your freinds track? Is he a quad rider? If so it sounds great. I'm always up for new places to ride. Not that dirt bike tracks are bad ,but usually the jumps are narrow and dirtbike rutts suck.
Have you ever been to budds creek to an mx race? I never made it to any tracks south of Fredericksburg, but I hope to change that in 2005.

Posted by: TWISTED

How's the 450 coming T?

Posted by: mxva5413

Great....Well this goes for anybody that's interested in riding at this track in Caroline: Send your email address to ProQuad450R@aol.com and I'll send you guys an email the next time we plan to ride....Keep in mind what I said about the cold weather...I don't know how often we will get to ride any more until it gets warmer. Probably just a day here and a day there I'll try my best to let you guys know just as soon as I find out!

It's very Quad Friendly all the jumps are plenty wide for atleast 2 quads to jump side by side maybe even 3 wide in some places!

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

Have you seen pics of the walsh gusset kit? Well I made most of them I just have a few more to go. One more frame wrap by the top motor mount and the 2 to the steering stem mount. I got a GT thunder pipe of here and just bought a 2002 crf cam so I might be able to stay with the back of the pack. not riding sux but at least I am able to get a little work done on the R.

Man Feb is going to feel like forever for you...just remember it's like riding a bicycle you don't forget you just get tired fast. lol

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

I plan on going on a Cliff Taylor riding plan when Feb. gets here so don't worry to much about me. When I said I might be able to keep up with the back of the pack I meant A class. J/K

Fredericksburg Here. I'm near Loriella Park, and Courthouse Rd. I go to VSP occassionally as well, I met Duponster already there, I'll most likely be at the next race if anyone wants to meet up.

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

Do you live in oak grove? My sons babby sitter lives in there and I saw an mx 400 ride by one day while I was picking him up.

Posted by: XCAdam89

Nah, I live behind Fox Point.... Right near the 7-Eleven, McDonalds, and BK intersection. Right now I just have a Yamaha Big Bear 400, but I'm in the market for a Sport Quad right now...and working at Dairy Queen to fund it. Wanna donate??

Posted by: JRP

fredericksburg here, located in Estates of Chancellorsville

Posted by: Nick shupe

got to represent for Massaponax and the little bit of trails we got left to ride

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

Nah, I already did the sponsership thing this year. Now its time me to start riding again, but good luck in your quest. There seem to be alot of quads out there going for good prices. I did ride back behind your house about three years ago, but now there is whats called south point 2. Nick has trails out by his house to ride.

Posted by: Nick shupe

yea i still got some trails out here by the train tracks but you got to be careful were you go out here. The law dogs out to get us

Posted by: porkchop22406

I live down here on 752 "richards ferry rd" in hartwood, and there is a pipeline that runs to the river with trails branching off. I havent had any problems yet from the law or people on the road, so..if you guys wanna check it out sometime, let me know. LIke i said,I havent had problems yet, so..I guess we are still "riding at our own risk, ya know"

Posted by: XCAdam89

Also, Here's the 300 I'd like to buy. 2001 with works shocks, White Bros Exhaust, ect. $2500. Not bad eh??

Posted by: porkchop22406

he'll i got a 400 ex that i'll sell ya for that much 01, with fmf pipes k&n oil and air filters nerf bars, new sprocets and chain, douglas redlable wheels. email me at porkchop22406@yahoo.com if you wanna see a pic or talk!

Posted by: Nick shupe

I know some people that live back there in a subdivion on the right hand side of the road couple miles back you might know them if you have lived there for a while the Huges I use to ride with them over there all the time I know what gas line you're talking about and it's a lot of fun but last time i was over there we had to run i'm goin say from who all i'm goin say is we had to do alittle ducking in the buches

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

How old are you XC? If you do a little searching you can find better deals than that. Look how much Chris sold his quad for. And that was mx ready. Not that it is a bad deal just keep your eyes open 400ex's go cheap these days.

Posted by: porkchop22406

well, i just moved here in feb. and I havent had any problems, so tell me who did you run from? the cops? if so I'll keep an eye out when I am riding down there, cause I already have 2 perfect spots picked out to go if i need them! thanks for the info!

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

Nick did you see I got all the white plastics on?

Posted by: porkchop22406

yeah, I'm not trying to rip no one off, my 400 isnt the most perfect bike, esp being a 01, but i'm a 320lbs rider and it does wonders for me. its gunna need back tires soon, they are about 1/2 tread left and the 2 wheels have 1 small dent in each one of them. I paid $2,500 for it 2 months ago and have put a new oil tank on it, new chain and sprockets, new k&n air filter, and changed the oil after every ride. I'd like to get $2,200 for it if you know anyone looking. I have pics, so email me at porkchop22406@yahoo.com if you guys want. I'm in fburg/hartwood if you wanna see it/ride it whenever!

Posted by: Nick shupe

yea man i had to hide from cops not that we wanted to but i has not going to get a ticket you know

Posted by: Nick shupe

T

I saw the bike with the fronts on it were can i see it now?

Posted by: XCAdam89

I'm 16. And paying for the quad mostly myself. I don't want a 400ex for a few reasons. I plan on racing XC, who knows I might change my mind to MX later on.

Anyways, The class is for 200 2-Stroke and 300 4-Stroke. And then they have open classes. I just don't have the money to put into a 400 to make it even compete with 450's. You guys saw Chris. He had that decked out 400, and now on his 450 he owns.

Plus, I'm a smaller guy. At 16, I'm only around 5'5, and I guess I feel more comfortable on a smaller quad like a 300, especially since it will be my first sport ATV.

I'd love to ride though, Twisted seems to have a sweet track. Maybe we could hit that up sometime.

Also, How do I join the F-Burg Mafia?

Posted by: Nick shupe

Chris's new bike Twisted old bike is really nice and he's going to be droping even more money in it this winter. He's going be fast on it in the coming years

To join the Mafia it involves a vaccum cleaner attachment, a shaved squirrel, a gallon of baby oil, and a spool of barbed wire. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, an open mind too!!!

Posted by: JRP

I say allthe fredericksburg guys all meet up at garys house and ride.

Posted by: dopeyferree

Ive been out to Gary's place a couple time. Had lots of fun except for that tree I had a run it with. Oh well I was tired of that bumper anyway

Id be up for another ride at the Twisted compound as soon as I get my rear shock back from GT Thunder.

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

I had a 250x before my 450r and loved it. It was pretty nice and well taken care of. I only paid 1500 for it, so don't forget about the 250x.
As far as the mafia goes, I believe that we were given that name because their were so many of us guys from Fred. at the D-7 mx races it just fit. As far as joining you have to show up and race with the Mafia crew. Oh yeah to become a member now I think you have to go see the God Father at CT3 and don't forget your checkbook!

Posted by: dopeyferree

The God Father has already gotten plenty of $$$ from me. I dont think there are that many XC racers in Fredericksburg though.

Posted by: XCAdam89

Do all of you race MX or is there any XC'ers besides Dopeyferry?

Anyone want to go to VSP Next race they have up there? I'll most likely be there to watch. Sucks I know.

Also, I work at DQ at Four Mile Fork, So Mafia Members get discounts. haha.

Also, I run www.aircooledracers.com So if all the F-Burgers are up for a chat, I host one:

http://www.aircooledracers.com/chat/chat

I liked my idea for initiation better!!!! Weeds out the weak...

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

I am up for a ride at Twisted's also. I might as well pick up where I left off.
The only problem with the entire Mafia showing up is that we are in a restructing faze right now. A few of us are wounded from battle, a couple of us have mechanical issues, and others are just without a ride at the moment.

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

Posted by: dopeyferree

SO your finally going to pick one up. There is 1 more round of the VXCS left if you want to try it. Let me know something. Could posssibly work something out for fitting you in on the trailer. Once you get it let me know and we will ride. I finally got mine put back together and am planning an afternoon of riding for some final practice before our last race.

Posted by: XCAdam89

Sure. Let me know! This one should be good for VXCS though, It's already got the works shocks! What do I need for VXCS, just an AMA Card or District Card as well? Where exactly are you located in F'Burg?

Posted by: dopeyferree

XCADAM clean your mail box and send me a pm.
