would front wheel spacers change my steering? would it affect my turning radius?

i had some front ones but i took them off. there great when you fishtail, it feels like you have more control over the backend but when turning it makes it a little bit wider, barely noticable though

the only reason i took them off is because i ride tight trails, and they didnt help me getting between some of the trees

i have some durablue 3" spacers i can sell you cheap if you want them, nothing wrong with them

no i dont have the rears, the fronts are honda pattern so they should fit the 250, if ya want em let me kno

do you feel safe running spacers?do you take any big jumps?ive always heard bad things about spacers,same with like flipping your rims.id say at least get the back axle then just run the spacers up front,because the money you spend on spacers could go for a durablue or something.just my .02 but whatever you choose man its your quad.take care

idk, i dont really take any big jumps, only the ones at my small practice track...i would get the durablue eliminator axle, but the problem is that i have a certain amount of money that i can spend, which is $120 bucks

ok, im definately not getting the front spacers, but maybe the back ones...would it change my ability to ride on two wheels(on the side) ?? it seems like it would because i would be just widening the back wheels and not the fronts which would make it so that when i ride on two wheels it would be crooked, is this true? thanks for help

if it is going change a lot, then im just going to either save for an axle or get some razrs instead of widening

alright, change of plans, i might get spacers because i saw a pic of a 250 with reversed rims and it looked sick as hell, it was awesome, so i know i definately want to go wider and then cut my plastics!

You could reverse the rears, but it would make it narrower I believe.

Your quad will handle worse by flipping wheels or running spacers. Another down side to flipping stock wheels is the steel inserts for the lugnuts will be on the wrong side. This will keep the wheel from self centering and it will eventually woller out the lug hole.

lol, another change of plans, i'll just leave the wheels how they are!! much easier and cheaper that way... however i will definately still get an axle once i have enough money

i've seen 250ex's with reversed front rims, i didnt know that in the future it would cause problems like that tho

FWIW, I have a 250EX with an Eliminator 2+2 on the rear and spacers on the front. It has been running this way for almost three years, routinely bottoming out on jumps, etc. and has had no problems.

The wider stance DRAMATICALLY improves the handling of the 250EX. The stock 250 is rather tippy. Not with +3 on the front and +4 on the back.
