I live in northern ohio have a banshee and it gets cold up here alot of the winter what should i jet it to should i go up or down on the main jet size or should i keep it the same? What about the pilot jet? I would like to jet it so that i can run in the snow and on the river when it freezes. It gets probably between 20 and 40 degreesin the winter time.

Go up o your pilot 2 sizes, and your main very's every 20 degree's (colder) = a larger main. I go from 340's to 370's. And I don't ride when its bellow zero. Only when its 30 or more, otherwise I ride one of my thumpers, or stick to one of the snowmobiles.

every 3000 feet in altitude you gain you lean one jet size

and every 20 degree change in air temp is a main jet size change

for every 20 degree drop do you jet it one size richer or one size leaner? As long as it is jetted right is it bad to run your banshee when it gets to 20 degrees outside????

colder the wheater will be richer u got to go......and it will not do any domage at all,,,,,accept it could blow up........but the only way it will blow up is if u old it full trottle to long....... so if you got a heavy thumb your better of going up sizes that mean going riccher.......

I can email you the specs from the 2004 owners manual from my banshee if yours is stock. Down to about 5 degrees, All you have to do is change main jets up to 220 and adjust screw out to 2 turns. I ran mine last weekend on the river, about 20 degrees out all afternoon pretty much wound tight (except the corners) with no problems.
