250r hood, smaller tires, nerfs, bumper... There's a lot you could do to make it look better. Here's a few links for thebaddest 300ex/250x contests, and a few others (the links look the same, but they're different) on here from a while ago, there's some pretty sick 300's on there!

if you were talking to me the hood in the pic is not a 250R hood it' just a stock 300ex hood that we modified

sorry, i guess i didnt, but how hard is it to custom mount one?
...does the 300 light work, or will a new light be needed?
Posted by: 44oEX
you have to specify what your talking about man
If your taking about the 250R hood. For the light it depends if you use the one with the light in it like the 88-89 like someone on here. If you use that one you will need the 250R light.
But if you use the smooth hoods you will be able to use your light
As for how hard well it's just taking your time and cutting the plastic to fit right
If you where taking about the home made hood well they are pretty simple to make just take you time

thanks, i was talking about the 250r hoods (88-89) from rockymountainatv.com

No you don't need a 250r headlight, i used my stock 300 light, had to rig up some way to mount it (i ended up using some hardware that was on my stock headlight mount) but it wasn't hard at all.
