LT250R clutch problem

need to know what might be the problem with my LT250R, it stalls every time I come to stop (clutch lever pulled in). I do not much about this atv I just bought it. HELP

sounds like the clutch is going out . Does it slip when u are rideing

Either there isn't enough free play in the cable or the clutch baskets ears are all grooved, so the clutch plates are grabbing.
