Need to buy Paddle tires quick (Need Help)

I need to order some Paddle tires. I have narrowed it down to Haulers or Sand stars. I don't ride in the Dunes alot and have never bought or rode either of these but sound like they are about the best.
I know nothing about buying paddles so hear are my questions.
1. What size of tire should I get. I am 6'4 240lbs if it matters. Also I am riding
an 05 TRX 450r.
2. Does the # of paddles matter? How many do I want?
3. Pattern of paddles ie V etc?
4. What size wheels do I want and brand. I would like to have a nice tire wheel combo that doesn't break the bank.
5. What should I do for the fronts? Same questions as above, Tire size, Wheel size, Brands etc.
Need to buy tomorrow so I need your opinions

You could get some 20" just to keep the gearing close to stock. The staight paddles are more for straigh line drags but they still work in cornering. The V shape have less forward pull but corner better. if you don't plan on jumping to muchI would get something simple like 9" ITP with no beadlock or anything fancy. But if you want to do alot of jumping and stuff like that. I would go with hipers. they are really tough.
as for the fronts it's between smooth buff or the rid. the rib handles better. That would be my choice. as for the brand. I don't really know.
Good luck

This is wat whas recommended from the forum at 450r.org
Front Tire Recommendation
Skat Trak Mohawks 21x7x10 front, on 160 wheels (Douglas)?
Rear Tire Recommendation
Skat Trak Haulers 20x10x10 7 paddle? 190 wheels (Douglas)?
Are the Douglas wheels O.K. I figre I would want 190 wheels because of my weight. Would I want 190's up front also?
Are you sure you would like these tires over the ITP Sandstars?
Also where would be the best online place to order these? I am thinking rockmountain atv. any other suggestions?

Is your R stock or modded?? I run Skat Trak 20x10x10 8 paddle haulers, and I would never go back to v's.

I have the Skat Trac 20x10x10 9 paddles. The thing launches. I am debating on the Mohawk or Sand Stars for the front.

As of right now my quad is bone stock. After the Dumont trip let the mods begin.

I can't decide what fronts I want to run either. I've heard alot of good things about the sand stars, and they seem to be a light weight tire. I've read a few other posts about people using the 7 paddle haulers, and having really good luck with them. I personally wouldn't go any less than 8 paddles, especially if you're planning on modding your R.

I run 21X12X8 8-paddle extremes with mohawk fronts on .125 douglas rims. I run 13/39 gearing. I know they only make 22X12X8's now. That's what I suggest for straight line racing.

sand stars work good for turning and still provide straight line excelleration.
i would recommend 8 paddle haulers on 8 inch rims, that is what i use and let me tell you i can pull the sickest holeshot you've ever seen!!!!!!
