i have a 450r and im going to the dunes this weekend.. i wanting to buy some haulers and wondering what size and paddle..these are the mods done right now
sparks full exuast
sparks cam
sparks jet and filter
i was also wanting to see what you guys thought about using my stock 9"rim for the haulers..i have them just sitting around so i figured i would use them..i may be putting the sparks 13:1 piston in but that will be later on.. so if i can get some suggestions on with the 13:1 and with out it i would appriciate it..and do i have to change my gearing at all.
thanks

I just bought 20x10x8 8 Paddle haulers for my 450R that has pretty much waht yours has. I have yet to use them but they should hook up great but still provide a little spin. I geared down both sprockets, with a 13/39, and I hope it'll rip.

Dune virgin!....your gonna love it!
With your current mods I would probably go with a 9 or 10 paddle on 10" rims. But if you have 9" rims laying around....are they aluminum or steel?
If you put in your piston, you will probably want more paddle to harness the increase of power. So I would probably go with a 10 paddle Hauler.
A lot of people drop a tooth on the front for a quicker rev which helps quite a bit in the sand.
Hope this helps.
