kill switch wiring need help

I have a 88 250r that i took apart 2 years ago and am not sure of how the wiring goes. There is a black with yellow tracer and a green that i think goes to the coil and the coil has a black side and a green side. The kill switch has a male flat disconnect that is bent at 90 degress that I think came out of one of the two mentioned wires that goes in the coil. Is the right. Thanks

One side of the kill switch goes to the black/yellow wire you mentioned and the other goes to ground
