I have only been able to find time to ride my Speed for the one hour break-in ride, but it was very impressive; even only at 1/2 and 3/4 throttle...
I am going out this weekend with my friends; a 265R, a 310R, a jetted, K&N, Toomey modded Banshee and an LT500R Quadzilla. I am anxious to see how the 'dale does in this pack, because whenever we got out on the flats with my 400EX, it was murder........: )
I did the break-in ride at the local MX track last week and my friend with the 265R went along, he was impressed with how the Cannondale was able to "attack" the take offs to the jumps when the runway was quite short. That is what I always admired about his 2 stroke R....he could build such rpms and speed to make jumps that the 400EX just didn't have the balls to do.....
Well, enough talk; just wanted to let you know my impression of my new quad.............JIM

jim how do u like the no link rear suspension on them... and do u like it better then ur elkas on ur 400 (it has ohlins right)

First,
I am not sure of what "feel" the linkless rear shock would have compared to the 400EX link type. If there was a difference, I didn't feel it, but I will make that a note to myself for Sunday's ride. I was only hitting a 30 foot double and a 40 foot table top, but it felt really nice in the air and the Ohlins felt very good on those landings, never bottomed. Of course my Elkas with SSD and valved/sprung for my weight, triple rates, etc have an advantage over the Ohlins, but time will tell how much.........JIM

Cannibal hp at the rear wheel is 33 hp, speed is 34, blaze and moto are 36 or 38 I can't remember. This comes from Cannondales own flyer. Best place to measure hp is at the rear wheel.

Let us know how it stacks against them and your 400EX!
