I have a friend that claims her stock 04 grizzly will run 85 mph. is there ANY chance that it will do it??

fastest ive had my uncles up to was 64 and i dont think itll go much faster than that.

65 to 67 was the most I could get out of my bros grizz, and that was in perfect conditions on a hard packed dirt road. Tell your friend not to buy a 4x4 for top speed and drag racing.

the grizz tops out around 62-67 no way it will do 76 they are speed limited not that they could do much better than that anyway, i as well as two of my friends have grizzlie's and they all reach the 62- 67 range
i have been on many other forums and seen this topic debated to death and 76 is the highest speed i have seen claimed yet

well we found out the speedo was way off so it said it was doing 85 & 90 when it was really doing about 60 to 65.

ok i willl post a pic of my speedometer and u will be amazed lol im tellin ya its true. And i get on roads were the speed limit is 60 and i easily beat the cars so ya

Ok buddy i am a very good friend with someone that races a grizzly on the gncc series and he has got every thing on it and it only goes 69-71 look him up Jason White my 700 kawasaki is a 4x4 speed machine and it only goes 74 and ive got everything except a bore kit so quit trying to act cool and drop it or take it in to get checked out and then you will know that your speedoo is broke lol

a stock Grizz will do 69(rpm limiter)....anything higher you will need a cam and aftermarket CDI to raise the rpm limit.....i have a 686 with hotcams stage2,hmf full exhaust,and a Procom CDI.....i run with out an airbox and its fully ported.........top speed is 76 on the speedo.......no Grizz no matter what motor will hit 85.....the bike is eventually limited by the belt drive.......the clutch will not open up that far to allow any more top speed.......a bigger motor will just get you there quicker.....

fastest i had mine was 70 on straight gravel road with stock tires. now have 27 mudlites and it tops at 62
