I will be going to Knoxville this year for the week of thanksgiving and I am seriously thinking about bringing my quad. Does anyone here ride at windrock? I would like to check it out. Would anyone like to hook up for a ride sometime during that week, from what I have read it is a big place and ez to get lost. Are there other places nearby also to ride? Looking fwd to riding in the mountains...it is so flat here any hill higher than 10' is man made.

i love riding at windrock!!! I live in knoxville (I go to UT), but i'm going to be back in middle tennessee for thanksgiving...

Windrock has something for everybody, the riding there is incredible...soooo much land- 72,000 acres. Take it from me- spend 10 bucks and buy a map- just ask my friend Brian, who was lost there for 16 hours...

Windrock is in Oliver Springs, TN...its 15 minutes from Oak Ridge, which is about 15 minutes northwest of Knoxville.

yeah, Tellico Plains is about 45 minutes from Knoxville and there is a new Government managed spot about 30 minutes north of Knoxville...its in Dirt Wheels this month
