I might get a carbon fiber hood for my 400ex soon and i was woundering were u guys put the neutral light and the ignition at? if anyone has pics that would help alot

They either get rid of them or mount there somewhere on the front plastics. It just depends on whether or not you need the light. Ignition is usually mounted into the side of the front plastic.

On my 400 I have a quadtech hood. so for the neutral light i just got rid of it because its not needed.. and for the ignition.. I have Air scoops, and theres a bracket to mount them on to the quad so I just tucked it up and under by the Air scoop (not on the exhaust side so you dont brun ur self each time you reach to trun your key on and off..) Makes it look nice and clean also.. If i can have sumone post pics Ill take a few pics and show you sumtime...

well its sorta hard to see,but i have my key switch to the right of the hood, you can see a lil black piece sticking up,that is the key,and i have my neutrul light right beneath that,it works for now,but i have to think of were to put it when my fullbores come

you could spend the hundred somthign on a carbon fiber 400 ex hood with hood scoops. but the hood scoops really dont do too much. i just bought a 250r hood and did a little custom plastic work and made it fit and look good. also i got rid of my nuetral light and put my key zip tied onto my throttle cable down pretty much where it used to be.
