Hey Guys,
I love my 450R and I love the modding but I want to get your guys opinion. I would like to get a 13:1 piston, bigger valves, ect. My only concern is that I will lose my reliability. For those of you that have done motor mods, have you experienced any issues. I was at Sand Lake yesterday and was riding with a guy who a highly modded banshee. Right after a race with another banshee he blew a piston. He said it had happened before. He happen to be done for the day. This is what I want to avoid. What is your guys opinion.

bigger valves, port and flow your head is the most reliable horsepower you can buy. The piston swap on the other hand is not as reliable as top end work
