i had one on my R.Some improvemets over the whole rpm range, not something major.It was easier to start also

yea they work awsome but the thing is you only need it if you blow out the spark. if your running with high compression and you blow out the spark then you need it

I had to drop the gap on my plug when I got my bigbore kit because of the increase compression. Also running racing plugs help alot but those run $10.00 a pop. Adjusting the gap is whole lot cheaper then getting a new ignition system or some other means to boost your spark.
