I am considering whether or not I should purchase the AC Pro-Peg Nerfs. I really like the concept, except that I have read a few things about the pegs wearing down because they are aluminum. Has anyone had this problem? Any other problems with them? And would you recommend them? Any other positives you would mention?

Thanks,
~Jason

There the best out there,,but yes the teeth on the pegs will wear down,,unless you ride barefooted..

Do you then just replace the whole nerfs, or can you just replace the pegs?

If so, how much are the pegs?

No replacing anything,,when they wear down they wear down,,you can file them to points again,,or get in on the group buy of rathracing peg extenders,,made of stainless steel,,them ain't gonna wear down.

My AC's were on my bike sinnce it was new(a 2000 model) and they havent wore down really at all
I ride with shoes too!!!!,,not boots!!!

I have hard soled riding boots, so I'm guessing that's not going to be too friendly with them...I did see the group buy on the extenders, that's probably the way to go...
