Turning my MX style in XC for a race. What do i need and what setup on suspension can i change too

If your going to spend the money buy the Houser LT frt and rr with Elka or Axis shocks. I have this set-up on both of my R's with Elkas on one and soon to have Axis on the other. By far the nicest suspesion I've ridden.

whats your current setup?

If you have like +3 arms put the stockers and stock shocks back on your +3 will take out every tree, along with a wider axle, stock width is good or maybe +1. If you have shcoks and amrs that arnt real wide raise your ride hieght to betwwen9-10 inches, and turn you comp out most of the way set that up softer for xc. If you have 18in tires barrow some 20s or use stockers, also you dont need to cover your airbox but I made a little splash gaurd. Also good skids, and if you dont have a good skid buy at least the swinger.
