Heres the deal when i first got my R about a year ago the clutch was perfect. Its went down hill snice, with the clutch fully adjusted it would still pull. So i took the cover off and the basket was chattered bad, I put a brand new hinson basket in and now it still pulls with the clutch pulled in. I change my oil all the time and all the other parts looked good when i put the basket in, so im not sure what to do now. The inner hub had a little chatter but not bad at all. I have it fully adjusted both on the motor and the lever, so any help would be great.

Did you check the lever going in to the cases? Look for wear at the point of contact with clutch rod. Also check the length of the rod, I had a rod about 2mm to short. (LOL insert joke here) Depending on the year you may want to up date to 89 style.

I ordered a 89 update kit. So I'll check everything out when i install it.
