If I run the 13:1 comp piston would I be alright with 93 octane and octane booster? Does octane booster actually work? I've never tried it

Your gunna have to run race gas. Octane booster doesnt do anything.

dont run octane booster. its no good. creates pockets in your gas. just by race gas, its worth it.

I seen on trx450r.org that some people were running the 12:1 comp piston. Where can I find that at? or 12.5:1. I'd like to stay on pump gas but want the most out of my bike. The 11.5:1 piston is a waste from what I understand?

You will not be able to run pump gas (92-93 octane) with a 12:1 or 12 1/2:1 piston.

You can run pump gas on 12.5-1 piston. You just need to be 3500ft or higher..

Leave it to you strange utah guys to figure that out!

Sparks is working on a 12:1 piston that can run on pump gas.

I never knew that! I had a 12.5:1 in my old 440 motor and was told I had to run 110! I have a 13.25:1 now that runs the same. We tried Ox4 but it would not ignite correctly? We still have not figured that one out. Ran like it had a hole in the gas line, and yes the tank was sealed.

What is Ox4????

oxygenated crap that cost an arm and a leg. You have to run a sealed gas tank with it or it will evaporate!

How much does a barrel of VP Race gas go for and how long does it usually last?
