Wow, lotsa youngsters. I sure wish I had bigger toys back then. I always had to buy mine in basketcases, and fix them up. I've had quite a few bikes, but I had to sell them all to pay for doctor bills once I wrecked them. Now I'm 24, have a good job, Insurance, and can afford my Banshee. Now don't get to upset that I sayed Banshee, I'd trade it straight across in a heartbeat for a TRX250R that was equally as nice.

I have a Banshee and I'm not ashamed to say I own one, of course I do own a 400ex also.

Sadly, I am looking to find a 250R to trade for...I'm sick of working on the Banshee, something seems to go wrong everytime (small things, just my bad luck is all) and I hate having to work twice (two of everything).

The guy who owned it has I believe, we were just at Quick Track this past sunday for the FTR series. I havent officially started racing yet, just riding and getting seat time, im gonna start next october with the FTR series. Since this is my first sport quad i want to have plenty of seat time before jumping into a race. I did like quick track though nice setup, ill probably start practicing there, hard rock, and bithlo.

im not saying that everyone didnt, but 14 year old's who thier first quad was a 450r DEFINITLY did not pay for it by themselves, and dont just think that because i work for my $hit that i dont have what you have, im getting ready for the real world (unlike you) because in the real world, you dont just get $hit thrown at you!!

mines an 01.. it has a shift lever that selects the tranny .. maybe the 02 and up are different

ive only put 25 miles on it so far.. no problems

exactly... those kids get EVERYTHING for free... im 14, i pay for EVERYTHING!!!!! i put all the work/money into my quad (except the brakes) i even put all the work into my sister's quad, my dad's quad, and my mom's quad!!!

wat i don't understand is what retard lets their kid start out on a 450R i've been going to local races lately and their atleast 5 people i've seen everytime that had no clue wat they were doing
first of all they ramp just horrible and they hit their helmet on the handle bars a-lot which isnt a trick that i know of

and then you enter the mud bogging event on a 450R wtf do these kids think?

16, 300EX. mods in sig. But i just ordered an easy pull clutch lever and pb brake off. And am about to order fat bars and the mount kit and 250R hood. And me and my dad are gonna slpit the cost between a rear swing arm and shock. Its crazy how these 13 and 14 yr. olds are on 450s and even predators. And im guessing sum dont have a job. Paying for your quad/ the stuff on your quad will make you feel alot better about it. Especially when you work your *** off for it. like the 2-midnight shift. always fun

dude im waving a bull**** flag on that, there is no way in hell you payed for 3 atvs and a bike by helping your buddy landscape, especially since your only 14...im 17 and im not even half way done paying off my Dvx. and yes i am paying every penny on my dvx. that is with me working 40+hrs a week bailing hay and cooking at a steak house at night

i work 6 or 7 days a week. its alot better to have 83 lawns to cut a week that cooking steak. the majority of our lawns have a couple acres. its not my problem you cant pay off a dvx when ur 17.

im 18 and my father owns a landscaping business....i have been working for him since i was 13 and i have owned and modded to hell a 1989 LT 250R......owned and paid off a 2004 450R and now i have a 250R with over 15 grand in it....not including my 98 camaro Z28 with my stereo system, rims, exhaust bla bla all the fun stuff......

whats so hard to believe about what this kis says?? hard work earns you thinks you want....before i broke my wrist last week racing i was working with my dad about 40 hours a week and ontop of that quad racing every wensday nights and sundays....and hes right...when you work and earn stuff by yourself you do appreciate and take care of it more
