I gotta say, all you from Washington and other areas that go to Sandlake........

Take the extra hour or two and hit the 'real' Oregon dunes. You wont be disappointed

Sand Lake is still fun. I love it out there, even though it is a BIT small. They have some of the funnest(sp?) treeshots out there. especially doin' 'em at midnight. Total fun. I don't know why you flame SL, even if it is only a sandbox, it's better than no sand at all. You know what I mean?

It's not a bad place and definatly better then no sand but on the weekends there are way to many people for such a small area.

What I was getting at is some people drive for many hours to get to there and there's nothing wrong with that but if they go a bit farther they will have a very different experience

The reason we didn't go to Florence is becuase this was my first dune ride with the ex. I've been on 3 dune rides, but the other 2 with my trikes. I was confident with them, so i was going to bring them to sand lake, but they were a little low on power in Moses Lake. I wanted to get more experience before going to Winchester, florence, etc. Btw, Florence is next!
