do you think that the lt250 is a good quad and how does it stack up against the all mighty 250r?
just your honest opinoin

The LT250 is fast, but the handling characteristics aren't quite as good as the 250r.

I own a honda 250r and a couple of my friends have had lt's, and the honda is alot better overall bike. Yes the lt runs good, but the handleing and the rest of the bike isnt up to par. Plus the frames are junk, everyone i have seen is cracked or been repaired. If you find a really nice one for a good deal I wouldnt be afraid to pick it up. But if I was spending money I would go for the honda.

YEAH I HAD AN 87 LT, THE GUY I GOT IT OFF OF HAD ALOT OF MONEY IN IT, BUT HE ALSO RAN IT HARD. BUT ANY WAYS IT SEEN ITS BETTER DAYS LONG BEFORE I GOT IT, IT NEEDED TO MUCH WORK ALL THE TIME, SO I SOLD IT, BUT IT WAS REALLY FAST.
I HAVE A HONDA 250R WITH ABOUT 12GRAND IN IT AND NEVER HAD A BETTER BIKE, I LOVE THE HONDA

85 and 86 were only a 5 speed tranny with no power valve, I had an 86 LT and an 86 trx R. The lt was very mean but it just needed that extra gear. The TRX handles alot better. The LT seemed to have alot stronger powerbad but the TRX always started and was much more reliable. You see way to many nice tricked out LTs for the same about as a stock TRX
