im installing my twist throttle and i cant get those stupid black body clips off. is there any special way to get them off? thanks

Use a small screwdriver, and pry the center piece up about an 1/8 to a 1/4 inch. Then pull the whole thing up and out.

yea thats all or use a pair of plyers

honestly the easiest way to get them off is to use a set of side cutter pliers and pull them out with those. I tossed all mine and just use Zip ties and they work fine. Those little black clips are as annoying as the stock axle nut...

LOL I'm a Acura mechanic, Im so used to removing those things I guess they just dont bother me any more. Honda uses them in various sizes to secure splash shields, fender liners and trunk liners. So we are taking them out all the time. Matco tools actually sells a tool for removing them, but for $65 Ill just keep doing it my way
