factory defect or a cracked motor on '03 400ex???

If you have a '03 400ex can you please respond to this!!!

When I was washing my quad I noticed a bunch of little cracks on the left side of the engine on the front side of the crank case. It doesn't seem to have any affect on the quad. I am just wondering if it was a cast defect or something like that that all of the '03s have. Please check and see if yours is the same.

mst likely a normal casting mark..just dont worry about it untill oil comes out
