How would I go about gussetting the footpeg mount area? would I have to cut some steel plates and weld them in? Or would a couple of mig welds work OK? I have worries about my frame cracking there and would like to see how other people have gussetted the footpeg area.

I haven't seen the 400ex frame crack there, is anyone having that problem?

i think that they were talking in mags that the peg area was weak?...i have no idea how to mod that area...beerock or chris waters or rico might know......PM one of them.....beerock just had his frame gusseted

yes that area is weak. To gusset that area you can fill in some area by welding and you can also weld in some small plates towards the back. I would think just welding would be fine unless you already have cracks there.
