i never ride in mud, rain and seldom ride in the snow. And after every nice sunny day ride i wash my quads off with my hotsy pressure washer that is diesel fired to have hot water and it automatically injects soap like at the carwash...then turn the soap off and rinse them...then i lube everything

,,,,,,then i dry the plastic and wipe the plastic down with pledge usually,,,,,,and then line them back up in my garage.

now thats how u take care of a quad... those things will last ur forever!!!! i need to start takin care of mine better and wash it every ride... pressure washing is awesome it works so much better then a hose...

I normally use a gas pressure washer. I picked up an electric washer at Home Depot and love it. It puts out 1600psi and cleans my quad in no time. I was never an electric power washer fan until I tried this one.

yeah but i didnt get the one i have to simply wash my quad,,,,,,,,i got it to clean the condenser coils on roof top A/C systems for restraunts that get greasey from the fryer exhaust vents.,,,and to get the dirt out of the others that get sucked and lodged in there........so hot water is a must to get the grime off them,,,,and the soap injection helps a lot also,,,,,,,,,1300 psi is enough to peel paint anyway,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,oh yeah,,,,,personally i like having 200* water

,,,,almost instantly....www.hotsy.com hot water washer, oil fired, 115v,,,,,,model 555

ex 80 thats one of the nices 400exs i have seen in a long time... the only thing i would do is buy a black one industries gripper seat cover and thats it!!! it would match ur numbers, hood and stuff perfect... just a thought

400ex21--thanks, I've been thinking about getting a black seat but i don't want to do it until i rip my stock seat. I've been thinking about a k and k seat. But if i got that then i'd want a k and k graphics kit, then i'd want fresh new fenders to go with it. You know how it goes.

o yeah i know how it goes... 1st u want a seat cover only, then u see a nice sticker kit that looks good on blue so u gotta get the blue and then once u got that it has that nice red frame and u see that and u gotta have it to so by the end u got a powdered frame, plastic, graphics, and the seat cover u originally wanted and ur only 600$ in the hole not 50$ haha
