Well my 400 smokes now, and has broken rear plastic where i flipped on the 6th lap. I ended up 9th in A class. I was runnin pretty good all day but hit a tree and 2 guys behind me passed me and i started to get really tired. I have never got the 6 laps in before until yesterday. But overall a good day.

It happend at the first mile marker of the first lap. I was in second in the b class and I was trying to jump across a muddy dip and my back end caught the otherside and it broke. I rode whitezee's 450r for three laps just to see what lap times I could turn and I moved up to 11 out of 18, despite missing the first two laps.

I take it that was from the last race this past weekend. All I can say is that was one rough ***** course. Everything on me hurt after I got done.

Posted by: matt400ex

Last week's bent a-arm didn't get any worse this week. So not all races are this rough? I'm still moaning everytime I stand up. lol

250EXstud,
Were you riding a yellow EX? I think I followed you most of the 3rd-4th lap, and yes you were SMOKING! I was on the white YFZ that came up behind you with the 450R. I was doing pretty good keeping up with hit him, until you hit that tree and then I hit a tree right after that. lol This was my second attempt at XC racing and racing you, was a blast! Thanks for the good racing! No joke though, I could smell your quad once before I even came close to seeing you. Hopefully you can get away with a re-ring and not a total overhaul.

i was second in the sport class until i snapped another tierod end on the 3rd lap

Well I have to buy a new front right fender for the 300 that I was borrowing. It cracked when the back end threw me over the bars. It hurt too. lol

I thought the course was rough but it was fun and I really liked it. It was a perfect day for racing too! Not to hot, not very muddy... very nice out. and I was/am VERY sore. I can't wait til the next race tho.... b/c I WILL be back on MY quad. lol

Matt my bad dude i know all 3 of us there were runnin together. I want to get my quad fixed, but i am gettin ready to get a 450 and my dad wants my 400 so he wants me to ride it for 3 more races then he is goin to go through it all and put a 416 in it. I don't think thats very smart or it is goin to last.

stud, consider the smoke screen ploy as a way to keep the competition back. lol I seen you on the starting line and it was going pretty good. For a quick fix you might try to replace the valve seals. Mine was smoking and when I pulled the piston there was hardley any noticable wear on the piston and cylinder. Honda valve seals are famous for premature failure.

I thought the track was perfect, (I like rough and dry tracks.) The only thing I did not like is the way it was marked, it was easy to get lost. Does anybody know the website for the race report?

Hey kyex40047 im with you, this was my farvorite race this year. Not having googles made things diffcult at times though. Next time i will have to come over and say hi to all the Quadshop riders.

Iam going to the rest of the race they have this year. I have been racing in the A class, but might race the pro class the last race.

I wondered why you rode in the A class to begin with

Posted by: XMXRIDER

I wonder why some one would race at casey where there is no money when they could race the pro class at haspin for a cash prize?

Maybe you wouldn't be just donating money if you did have to stop and help people start there quad or flip it back over.
