I hate my High-voltage 2, I sent in a poor review to Harlen.
Here's my .02-
I bought some Scott Hi-Voltage II goggles based off their appearance and hope of a better fit than the old-school goggles. I had asked a local pro about them versus standard Scott goggles. The pro seemed to hesitate a little then said he thought the standard Scott models gave better visibility but the Hi-voltage II's were O.K..
I should have taken that hesitation as disapproval. After about four months of use, here are my observations:
1) They do fit tighter, too tight at least against my O'Neal 904 and HJC CLX-4 helmets, they give me raccoon eyes.
2) They rode up on my face, putting some pressure at the bottom of my eyes. This was the case on both my O'Neal and HJC helmets.
3) They put pressure on my nose impeading breathing.
4) The foam filters in the googles are thinner than the older models for anti-fog, however this allows much more dust through.
5) They look darn good but that is my only endorsement.
You can get used to them after a while but you put some 87's or 89's on you'll notice the comfort difference immediately. You may have a better experience but I'll probably stick with my older Scotts or try the newer Smiths.

Scott 89's with their SVS Roll Offs!
if it's not too muddy you can get away with tear offs. i like Pro Grip or Scott tear off setups.

i ordered some hivoltages' today I will try them on if i don't like them i will send them back. I have 2 of of the 89's and they are so comfortable, and i also have a set of pro grips. I am not a big fan of the pro grips. They are way to heavy and they don't breath at all. Thanks for the info.

I saw a motorcycle show on cable a few weeks ago and they did a quick review on a pair of goggles that have the rolloff system and it accepts tearoffs on top of the roll offs. I didn't catch the brand name of the goggles and I can't seem to find anything about them on the net. That seems like a great setup to use for the start of a race where you sometimes get covered with roost around the first couple of turns. Anybody have any idea about the goggles?

I forgot to add that I love my Warp Star rolloffs too!

I have to agree...the Smith Warp goggles are the best I've run so far.

i hate my smith warps. the lenses crack constantly and i don't think they are comfortable. i replace the lenses in my smiths almost everytime i bring them, it weird how they always crack. i have 4 pairs of scotts and don't have nearly the same amount off problems with them

How do you do this to a pair of Swith Warp Stars with the rolloff system. There are no posts on the lens. I'm new to this racing stuff so type slow so I'll understand! LOL!

with the Scott's you buy their Holeshot tear off system and they give you a post that you stick on the left side door and then you add tearoffs in between the lens and frame. it works really well on a muddy day. you add about 5 tear off's so by the time you hit the woods your vision is clear.

See i am wanting to switch to roll offs because every time i got to grab a tear off on my pro grips it pulls all of them off and then i have nothing. But with roll offs i will always have something. Only a really muddy race will the mud get behind the tape?

i got Pro Grips too. are you folding the tear off's the right way or just stacking them one after another on top? if so your seting them up wrong.

I am doin it right. it doesn't happen evertime but most of the time it does, i may just be grabbing a couple who knows. I just really don't like those goggles.

I really like my Smith Roll Offs. I race XC and I see many people who end up throwing their goggles off. After the first ride with the roll offs I knew I wasnt getting rid of them. Smith or Scott any roll off system I think is better than tearoffs.

my only solution would be to get the holeshot, ride harder, and stay out front so roosts stop cracking ur lenses!!!
thats wierd how they break? never happens to me

They have a little strip that goes above the film called a mud visor. This will not allow mud and water go get behind the film.
