I have to agree. The quality of these beat the DG Alloys I had on my old 250ex by a long shot. Havent had a real chance to use em much yet, but already love em. I also like the style of em instead of the more square look of the DGs.

Are they aluminum or steel?

Posted by: Striker49

13/8" alloy tubes that are heli-arc welded at the joints.

I have to say, alot of Tusk stuff is not too bad!We have had there Bars before and the strenght was as good as some of the spendier stuff and looks good!!

Friend of mine has them on his Raptor....he wreaked hard a few mx races ago(hard enough to break his wrist and leg) and they are still holding up good

Posted by: XCAdam89

They look good for the price

Posted by: lol

i have em too, i'll get some pics up, i left the stock plastic heelguard on though

Posted by: 300exPat

yeah i have them, there real nice expecially for 100$ they beat the looks of any dg's and maybe strength

they've saved my leg when i was slammed into a tree sideways around a turn in 4th gear (im not that bad, my rear spacer broke)

Wow, those sound pretty cool I think I am going to order a pair for my bike this week, thanks for all the information.

Tusk stuff is suprisingly cheap yet tough IMO

Posted by: MNTNMAN

I just placed my order this morning.

Posted by: REAPER

Anyone know if they will work with I.M.S. pro-pegs and heelguards. If not, anyone have a contact web-site or phone number for Tusk? Reaper

How were the mounts? IMO that is the most important quality area for nerfs. THe mounts need to be strong.

Posted by: 300exPat

on the 300 the mounts go up to the footpegs then up across in front of a bar in the frame in front of the motor (if that makes sense)

can u have the nerf bars with a engine skid plate? or do they interfere
