Is jumping atvs different then jumping dirtbikes?

Posted by: theTman

i would think so

Posted by: Kilabanshee

Yes alot different. You have 2 more wheels to worry about, alot more weight and really they dont have the acceleration bikes do into jumps.

Posted by: Honda400exrox

what has more throttle response a 400ex or a TTR-125?

Posted by: theTman

400ex...by alot

ttr125-8 hp

400ex- alot more

Posted by: Juggalo

yes jumping a quad vs a bike is a lot different.

Posted by: raptor146

I would say jumping a quad is easier. Maybe not for the big 100' triples. But otherwise a quad i easier.

Posted by: Honda400exrox

is jumpin a 30ft table top with a quad easier?

Posted by: effective

i ride both and think that dirtbike jumping is easier once you get the hang of it

i cant stand to jump my bros 400(probly because it has stock arms and axle and shocks)but i dont like the way it takes off...like if its uneven it trys to dump you....i dont respond quick so i prefer my bike

u can take a dirt bike rite from the factory and race it and be competive on it. with a quad u need shocks arms, nerfs an other stuff even to compete. a dirt bike can only mess up going off a jump up an down. a quad can get 1 side higher then the other and up and down. aquad the landing are much harsher also

Posted by: Honda400exrox

i dont do big jumps the only jump i like to hit is a 30 foot table top im not doin like 300 feet ones

Posted by: raptor146

A quad would be easier on a 30 ft. table.

how?

Posted by: Mxjunkie

jumping my dirtbike is soooo much easyier then jumping a quad, but once u get the hang of both its not too hard, but dirtbikes are alota fun to jump

Posted by: 300exPat

ive jumped with my 300 and my dads 350 2 stroke bike and oh man, i feel safer going off with my quad but the bikes are so much nicer to control

Posted by: Myrtle150

yea i think bikes are easier to jump..less to worry about

Posted by: pikey21

i bet bikes are easy because it only 2 weels hard to skrew up

but i love my 300 and wont chang

Posted by: bryan447

yes very it is esy er to jump atv

Posted by: SilentClepto

I think its easier to jump dirtbikes, because you have less to worry about. Plus dirtbikes are a lot lighter and easier to manhandle in the air.

i used to jump my blaster and jump friends 400exs some times then i jump my bike and it seems a ton easier...bikes are much lighter and are easier to manuver in the air...and whenever i've jumped quads its such a rougher landing but they had stock suspension...theres a track some kids made by where i live and it has a 50ft table top i can clear it easily in 3rd and my friend on his 400 hits it in 4th and lands halfway...also i would think casing and overshooting on a bike would be less rough then on a quad...just mo
