I just got my 450r and im wondering how to remove the front plastic i took all the bolts and everything out but there still are those 2 metal things what do i do? thanks

u drill them out man...they are rivets...i had that same problem...i just got a huge drill bit & went to hell on them...have fun

I used a dremel to take them off without risking drilling into something important just to be safe. what I did to keep the plastic from melting was cold water right after using the dremel to be safe.

Ok thanks alot fellas I finally got them off. I dont understand why honda would put those there though? Why didnt they just put bolts

they're pop rivets and i sometimes out two back in if i know that i'm not riding in sand for a while.

with the rivets in the fenders seem stronger. less flop when being pulled on an open trailer down the freeway at mach 6.

a rivet gun and rivets are cheap so sometimes i pop them on agian.

besides rivets come in handy.
