My family is thinking of doing a trip there this upcoming labor day. Does anyone know if it is crowded at this time of the year? SHould we make reservations? Thanks.

Pismo is pretty busy that weekend and it might be tough to get reservations. I got mine about two months ago.

i was just at pismo this weekend with my new black 450r. it was crowded as all hell. but 2 weeks ago it was even more packed. bring your 4x4 or you will get stuck. we couldnt even get any beachfront spots becouse of the crowd

Pismo seems to get worse and worse, you can really tell the sport is growing. That is why on big holiday weekends you have to have a reservation to camp. I don't think they put a cap on day use. We usally try to pull in a little farther from the beach. Getting in and out with my truck/trailer setup is pretty easy. Labor day trip is still up in the air trying to get bike put back together should have enough time .

Pismo is way to packed. I tried to make reservations a month ago and it was already full. I guess I will have to suffer in the heat at glamis!

If you really wanna go, get a day pass and camp at walmart.

If you do go make sure you arrive when the tide is low. If the tide is high make sure you drive on the back side of the campers. A lot of people have to camp low. I can not believe how crowded Pismo has gotten. I just got from Pismo this weekend & it was not to bad.
I will tell you I had to look @ tab top twice before I recognized it. Man is it is run down.
