Cracked my frame....well snapped it...

Well I snapped my 04 frame tonight....

Right where the #5 line is going...it snapped completly on both sides.....im so pissed right now

Are they going to Warrenty it????? Ive heard from a source that since the 04 Tranny there hasnt been any major issues with it

Dude, what do you do with your Pred? You know I think I read somewhere that rolling them off a cliff isn't good for the frame...
When you get your Pred back together, head up here with Yanna and we'll go riding. Or maybe Mike (kid with the Blaster
) and I will take a trip down there one weekend to go riding. Good luck with your frame issues...

LOL Nah, I was trying to beat Matt Coulters record jump!!
I work at a dealer, and it still will cost a bunch, the frame should be in by next thurs, and my rath gusset kit should be in on monday....hopefully ill be riding by next weekend.

Mapquest says about 130 miles from Hatfield, so about a good 2 and a half hours or so.

Well the frame came in yesterday, along with the gusset kit so I had it welded, painted the spots and started yesterday and today, all I have left to get outa the old frame is the engine and swingarm......i work a dealer so Im just doing it there at work. Ill get pics of the old frame as soon as i can....Hopefully ill be riding it friday afternoon!

I didnt land any harder than normal, it was off a jump Ive done thousands of times before. Luckily I landed it and didnt wreck.

Looks like it had been working on it for a while and just finally went -- note the fatigue (missing paint/pc) and rust. Appears to be stress from the rear shock - bottomming forces.
