Well with Cody's hometown race a week away, we hammered the course today. 50 laps(25 miles) non stop The boy is plum wore out I snapped a few pictures but its was dark in the woods but I got a few that look pretty cool.

Posted by: Pappy

The suspension is working killer and he is hitting things WFO

Posted by: Pappy

he would hit a log in the trail and ride for 5 or 6 feet on the 1 front wheel...never lifted

Posted by: Pappy

My brother showed up to test out his wifes warrior, he jumped in behind Cody on the track. It took Cody 1 lap to pull away and pass him, ineffect lapping his 26 year old uncle

Posted by: Pappy

He was ripping it up. I am very satisfied with the 90 and his riding ability is getting awesome!

Posted by: Pappy

Well, i have my fingers crossed for wood at next sundays race.

Posted by: Pappy

Lil'man was feeling depressed because his lil cousin couldnt ride....so we slipped up and bought a Kawi 50

Posted by: Pappy

We broke out the alpha sport 50, ryans eton 50 and the kxf 50 and had one hell of a 50cc flat track (as flat as you can get in west virginia )

Ryan was wfo and smoked his older brother in a 20 lap shoot out

Its great to see how Cody is getting better and better every week. I wish him the best of luck next week

Posted by: Cody_300ex

Go get em Cody!!!!! I wish I had a place like that around here to ride!

Posted by: lol

hahaha pappy u r one he!! of a fun dad

my family doesnt support me with the quads as much as u do with ur sons except i am thankful that they let me have a quad in the first place

Posted by: logan

hey, thats really kool... now all he needs are some tires and rims, if he gets that i might be up for a trade j/k

Posted by: redroost85

Dang, look at ole Codeman go!

Pappy, you best keep up with your riding or the boy is liable to put down a beating on the old man, lol!

Looking good Cody, let'er rip bud.

Posted by: Pappy

oh i can still get away from him he only weighs 86 pounds so a healthy shot of roost to his chest backs him off a few quad lengths

Posted by: redroost85

(old man's laugh) Heh, heh, heh...I knew ya still had some tricks up your sleeves there Pappy!

Nice.

I bet you would throw at your own kid in a Father-Son game if he was crowding the plate

Posted by: mxmike17

Well how did he do?

Sweet ride and those pics are great.

Posted by: Pappy

he did great!

he got the holeshot hands down and had a huge lead at the start. 2 teen age girls mis-directed him about a mile in and it cost him several positions he rode clean, even helping a fellow rider get unstuck and took 4th.

he can now race the 11-12 year old class but he opted to stay in his class for this race. he would have earned 2nd in the other class

Posted by: Pappy

Posted by: Pappy

i know it handles better!

Posted by: Pappy

welp, time to load the bikes up for tomarrows race

Posted by: TheFontMaster

Tires and rims look good pappy. Good luck at the races!

Posted by: Cody_300ex

Pappy are you not going to put extended a-arms on this one? Or does it already handle good enough?

Posted by: Pappy

actually we put wheel spacers on it to see what the wider stance would do before having to dish out the cash for a arms and an axle. cody say's it handles fine in its current state

Posted by: Rebelrider4OOex

the tires are Maxxis and yes we will continue to run them as they work great.

we went with reinforced rims to save weight. i didnt do the rears to keep rotational weight down due to the small HP numbers on these small engines

Posted by: APPLE1

Pappy, which maxxis tire are you running? what size?
i have been looking for some for my sons 90. He races mx
and the stock tires bounce him like crazy.

Posted by: Pappy

i will find out what the model of tires are

the size is 18 x 9 x 8

Posted by: Lil - Braff

That sure is one nice 90! Congrats Cody on your 4th place finish!

Oh. That's REALLY good! You better watch out Pappy! How long are the races that he runs?

Posted by: Pappy

they usually run 20-25 minutes races on courses that are around 1 mile long
