DG Race peg VS. AC Standard

I need nerf bars and i like the AC pro peg on my 400 but do not like the heel guards that are welded onto them for the 450 so should i get the dg race pegs or get the ac that bolt on? Also if to go with the ac are they as strong as the pro peg and can you weld those to the stock peg?

The AC standard is what I would do. The stock pegs will last longer. I don't think you could weld aluminum to steel. But what do I know

bought the DG Race Pegs pretty sweet really easy to install .
