Just wondering who makes hoods for the stock 400ex plastic that get rid of the lights?Can i take the hood off and put the lights back in for night riding?thanks

There is no "hood" that allows you to do this. If you want to keep your headlights, you need to get a set of Nac's headlight covers. Any of the carbon fiber or plastic hoods for the 400ex (Quad Tech, Fibe, Maier, etc), require you to chop off the portion of the plastic that holds the lights and the key. The Hoods mount up on top of the plastic, so you wouldnt be able to run headlights again with the hood unless you got a set of Lazer or Trail Tech lights for your handlebars like some GNCC riders use...

you can also mount some 4" tractor lights onto your shock mounts or somewhere around there.....looks badass, like a cannondale bike....my buddy did it, hes got shaved fenders so idk what itd look like with stock fenders....its def sweet tho!

Quadtech Naca hood I believe.

You can get lights that mount on your bars that I believe that can easily be taken on and off.
