This was easier that I had been told. I had heard stories of having to cut and splice pipe when first purchasing the slip-on then later adding the header pipe. I guess thats the result with other bikes.

Nope! Not with the YFZ450.

The newly purchased header fits right into the first purchased slip on piece. Thats it. Toss the intermediate piece aside.

Fit and finish were perfect and it was so easy to do.

Thanks HMF.

Do I need to rejet going from the slip-on to the full system?
