Is it worth the extra $$ to get full system or should i just go slip on i race mx is that helps.

If you have the cash get the complete setup, but if you dont have it, or do not feel like spending it, I think you can get the slipon then get headers later im not sure.

i have a yoshimura slip on, on my kfx400 it sound great and you get more power, but the only thing is that you cant ad a header later on if you wanted to beacause the pipe dimensions are diffrent

With the HMF you can add a header later. I did it and it worked fine. You just have to make one cut.
