What cc should I bore my blaster out to I found a 240 big bore on ctracing.com is that any good?I whent to rockymountainatv.com and they had pistons but it says .040or.060 piston what does that mean? And if any of you know of any better big bore please tell me! THANKS

dont get any of those...they make your quad less reliable...go to http://www.vcatv.com/PBengine.htm and look at the diamond racing 200cc kit

i know it doesnt make the bore any bigger but it definitely works

Okay so if I get the 200cc kit
and get the tommy b-1 pipe kit and
v-force delta 2 reeds and k&n air filter cut off my oil injector It should pull my 182lb butt around good

you bet it will...but another suggestion dont go with the toomey...the graydon proline, dyno port, and LRD all have better pipes...you can find those on the project blaster website also...my suggestion would be the graydon proline

Thanks agian but my parents are going to pay for the bore and I was going to buy the pipes with the pipes that you said to use will it hert my bike before I get the bore kit.

240 is a good bore..plenty of power...friend of mine used to have a 310 that was pretty fast. personally tho i think you should learn a little more about what your doing before you get motor work. you don't need to, but trust me you will be glad you did.

yeah reading up a bit will help for you.

getting jsut a pipe, K&N air filter and re jetting is usually the first mods done to any bike.

And remember, you must rejet the bike after almost any sort of engine mod. I would ask for help with that. Blasters arent hard to rejet, but if its your first time it could get ugly.

You are a bit heavy for the bike, but it will pull you around. Dont be expecting to beat any friends on their 400ex's unless you have some sort of big bore.

I know that LRD, and Vitos, both have very good performance upgrades for blasters. My friend has a blaster with a LRD big bore kit (not sure what size) But with all the mods on it, that thing rips. But its all or none with the power band, and is kind of a pain to ride around.
