The Raptor hood might work. I just put a Raptor hood on my 416 and love the look. I found the old post by 400grl and thought I'd try it. I used a chrome plated aluminum grill. It looks alot better than a stock 400.

i wanted the whole plastics on there but i dont think im gonna do it unles I know it will come really close or something

Considering that it's a completely differnent frame and company, I highly doubt all the plastics would come close to lining up. It's like saying I want to put my 400EX plastics on my LT185.

jester you seem pretty cocky against yamahas considering you own a yfz....i say dont do it, yamaha plastics belong on yamaha quads, you dont see people with yamaha's puttin honda plastics on there quads do ya? l8r

lol. My friend has me brainwashed and I call my Yamaha a Yammerhammer, Yamadog.. every Yamaha bash in the book, I've never called it Yamaha. As for Raptors.. well, I don't like them at all, same with every other Yamaha quad, the YFZ is the only one I like.

dont do it...1. they wont fit (different company and size frame) and 2.none of you hondont boys could ever put Yamaha plastics on your quads....it would be a disgrace

only honda i like are 250r and 450r

you would have to make custom brackets and everything, i think it would look funny because it might not fit right becasue of the different bikes and frame styles,

oh and i want to see some pics of this raptor hood on a 400ex
