Got my Lont Travel frt. end dialed in

I got the Gibson LT XC frt. end for the YFZ a few weeks ago.

I tried it out at the D6 Foot of the Mountain Harescramble last week and it felt awsome.

The Axis shocks and Gibson A-arms are a great combo.

this pic is a lil weird but you'll get the idea. For XC they have great clearance, and don't seem to get as beat up as other arms. When your spending alot of $ on parts its nice when they stay nice for a while!!

I also added some Gibson tie rods!!!

At first for XC racing I thought they might be a bit much (too fancy, too many parts)... As it turned out they are really simple. They make turning effortless, and the travel you get from the ends is smooth and precise!!

The Frt. end also comes with an adjustable steering block so u can totally eliminate any bumpsteer, this works great with the tierods.

did you buy them at east coast atv? how is their service?

Posted by: jlhughes750

Yes I got them through ECATV..

For me their service is second to none. I live right near their shop and have a great sponsorship program set up!

I deal with one person only.. that way it keeps things simple. If anyone is interested call and ask for Matt. He and I worked together on the XC YFZ arms and we've got them really hooked up! Let him know u ran into me on here, thanks.

Cool, good for him! If you would, tell him J.C. said "Hi".......He let me come and rebuild my Gibson +3 a-arms up there, he was going to some big poker game that night, but he stuck around until we had everything wrapped up...Nice guy

How wide compared to the stock a-arms are the gibson "XC" long travels? I've seen Herrmann advertise +0 long travel XC a-arms, I'm wondering if the gibsons are similiar.

Posted by: jlhughes750

They call them +1's but ??? Its about as wide as it was stock I think...... I have 4-1 wheels and its good for XC. Its the same width as my Arens R and the Roll XC bike....
