should I do it??? I am wondering.. I am realy thinking hard on doing this.. Should I shave my fronts and take the front bumper off and get a ac or duncan bumper to help the appreance on my bike.. Looking at the pics... I thinks thats whats throwing it off... I would start by ditching that bumper. Its awfull

just get a bumper..the fenders look good as they are. i'd go duncan over ac, but ac is nice

theres nothin wrong with the fenders, but that bumper should be burned! and so should DG, I think there designs are goind down the sh*tter!

yeah man, duncan bumpers look sweet. my friend has one for sale if u want one, its used but no dents or anything, still very shiny and clean, nothing wrong with it to my knowledge. ac bumpers looks sweet to and hold up great, i have one on mine and love it. as far as the fenders go, it looks good as it is but i like shaved better but just my opinion.

to me it looks to short from the side view, and to tall, but i also have suspension which makes it really low to the ground on mine, so maybe im not used to looking a 400s at stock heigth, also i think the smaller front tires throw it off too... maybe goin a little bigger on the would help

I think the bumper looks clutch ! leave it, dont make ur 400ex look like every other 400ex around the world, but if u gettin id of it, id be happy to take it from ya

what kind of riding do you do because if you like woods I would leave the fenders so you don't wear alot of mud. if you race cut them

Cut the fenders, youre not running the maier extensions anyway so get rid of them...I did and love the shaved look! I had a V-Pro just like you as a first bumper before getting my AC.. I can say I really didnt like that thing. Once you bend one side of it even a little it looks all off center and retarded so can it for sure!!! I agree about the tire size too... If you are gonna run big tires in the back like that you need to run bigger ones up front. What are those, 20's? 22's? If they are 22's, get 23's up front, if they are 20's get 21's or 22's up front.... Just my opinion, other than that the bike looks sweet!

I really like the look of your 400ex...

What kind of riding do you do? If it were mine I would get some 18' tires on some beadlock rims... A black or red pc'ed frame would look nice too...

I would prefer an AC bumper on it, but its not that big of a deal...

i gues it the pics that make the tires look that way i have 20's in the back and 21's int he front.. there is no way i am going to run 22's ont he front way too big... look like a big ballon tire in person the tire setup looks good.. well the bumper was given to me brand new. A friend bought it nd didnt like it and mine was a little bent so he just gave it to me... so thats why its on there.. I am def. going w/ duncan or AC prob Ac because i have nerfs and it looks more trck that way but i do like cut fenders....

I think its those tires that make it look bad, too small and low profile for front tires. Plus theyre fast trekkers

those fenders look like theyre crooked so if it were me id shave em cuz i dont like crookd things. but then again i like a quad that seems more xc like.

and def get rid of that bumper. one of those blingstar iron cross ones would look good on that.

well all the tires were brand new when i got the bike and i sure aint going to get rid of them and pay for more tires... and like i said above, its the pics that make the tires look bad.. the fronts are actually bigger in person tallness wise... its the picture that makes them look shorter than the back.. The tire set up is good the way it is... the looks anyways...

That bumper is GAY.

You could make your quad look better if you would take some of the preload out of the shocks,it looks like it's on stilts

I personally wouldn't cut the fenders,but I ride XC so do what you want.I like the silver plastic,looks very nice.

He is right, But if your just going for the look of a Duncan, TAG makes a pretty sweet bumper, that is almost a look alike for a little cheaper!!! Its polished alum.
