Couple questions for all you LE ownerrs. How do the black rims stand up to abuse i mnea like when they get scratched do they start to peel? Does the black chip off? How about that black body work, I bet it shows all the scratches easiily? I am curious as to how all this stuff looks and holds up before i buy and spend an extra $300. I want something thats going to look good the whole time i have it (prolly 5 years or so) and i am absolutely anal with my 300ex. I do mostly trail riding so brush scratches and **** will happen to it, just wanna get an idea whether or not the black is capable of still shining when im done cleaning and polishing after the ride. Thanks guys!

i bought my in belmont , ny at east side and they only charged me 6,800 for the LE , plus my first service is free. amor all makes the plastic look good after you clean it and you can't see any scratches.

I wax the **** out of my 300 on a regular. But I am cuious to know if the black will show more than the red does like on a regular car or if it hides em better cause its plastic ??!?!? Just wanna know how my yfz will look 3 years down the road if i take decent care of it... Anyones wheels chippin or peeling??? Just anal questions really.

hey quadrcr87 how do you like that alba exhaust on your yfz450? I'm thinking about getting that alba exhaust or a yoshimura exhaust!

i have no problem with my plastic. i have raced it 6 times and there is marks from my boots but that is normal. who cares you bought it to ride it right. and i noticed the black scraped off the rim if in hits things. it doesnt just peel and come off. it needs to be scrached off. the alba pipe made a huge difference. i havent ridden any other but mine feels awesome. it has got me three holeshots. this was against other yfz in about a 15 quad race. many others also had exhaust upgrades
