This is a new Arenacross track in Western Pa. near the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport. They had their first race there last night for the Quads/ Bikes. I got a few picks and a vidio clip, but they are not the best as my camera settings were a bit off.
Greg Vucina, former State, and District A class champ was back after a short retirement. He never fails to amaze the fans with his riding skill. He dominated the A class with ease on his new Vucina Motored YFZ450. Good job Greg, glad to see you back!

Not sure of this rider's name, but he did an admirable job in running with Vucina in the A Class on a Honda 450r.

Can anyone post a Video clip for me?

Did it look like a nice track for quads? I know I said I'm getting a little old and brittle for mx... but I may have to try that one out. I'll dig out my old camcorder and go to the next race to film it.

Just curious, is this the old Westmoreland fairgrounds or is this a completely different track?

Posted by: RIDER11X

This is a new track, not the fairgrounds track. Different promoter too. It is about 2-3 miles past the airport as you come from Rt30 heading toward the Airport. The track looks very quad friendly compared to Westmoreland.....Very nice layout, nicely groomed.

11X, is this the same place they run them dirt cars at? Or do they use the same name, but the track is located somewhere else?

This is the same place, the mx track is in the infield of the dirt oval.

Where can I get the race schedule? The website only has the schedule for the stock cars. I definately want to check it out.

You mean the one that rolled over on the corner? Did he have a chest protector on?

Hope he gets well soon!

yes the one that rolled over and yes he had a chest protector on!

I guess he landed on the guy infront of him off of that table top and it caused him to get thrown off and the quad the rolled on him...and it was his first race ever!

even tho he crashed he said that those 20 seconds he raced was the most fun he has ever had..haha

Yea, I raced the full 1999 season at Westmoreland, and still do an occaisional XC race. I loved racing, but now I got a mortgage to pay, so I am forced to remaim recreational now. Boy do I miss it!!! So now I take pics instead!!!!
