Help with LT shocks. How do I raise them up?

I just bought a set of JB Racing long travel a-arms and quad rate Elka's for my 450r. When I sat on the seat and the front end settled, the thing was way too low. How do I raise it up another inch or two? It looks weird being almost flat across. Are they supposed to look like that? Any help would be appreciated. BTW, I don't know which nob does what, so it would help if you could say "the nob at the bottom" or "the spring adjuster" Thanks

the knob at the bottom is rebound and the spring nuts sets the ride height

Do I turn the spring nut up to go higher or down to go higher?
Please , no bashing guys, this is my first experience with LT shocks.

Bart...take all the weight off the front of the quad, spray the threads really good with wd40 and loosen the jam screw and turn the nut down a half inch or so on each side...

i dont see how your going to drop all that money on LT front end, and not have any experience with any after market adjustable shock......

if he has never owned them how would he?? I am sure you didnt own them at one time either...

im just saying its pretty pointless to go straight to LT when he has never even used a double rate shock. its a waste of money buying it when hes not going to be using that extra travel for a long time, if ever.

Is this an "Opinion Poll" thread? White Zebra, get over it, I bought em', it's done. Get over it . They're sweet. I rode with em' at the dunes this weekend. I've got the settings all figured out.

And I think that this was your most pathetic attempt to help out in a thread. Oh wait...you didn't even get close to helping with your stupid opinion, if he's got the money of course he's going to go with the best. It's like saying, if you've never ridden a 450...then why the heck should you even think about getting a 450 if you've never ridden one?
Bartman, get some pics of your R with the LT set-up. I'd like to see how it looks and how low it sits...I'm interested in getting a 450R but the height just doesn't appeal to me, but a YFZ seems too cramped for me.

I'll try and get some pics by the end of the week. It did turn out sweet I must admit.

Sweet pics. Mine's getting closer to looking like yours. All I need are the nerfs and stem. Although I did raise up the front a little bit. It was over 51 inches and now it's at 49 approx. It rides like a dream. Do you have any parts left that you want to sell besides the wheels?
